Kerosene 04:41
Edward met Emily, the summer when he turned thirteen She was lovely like a dream And he fell so in love he could not touch the ground But Emily turned him down Edwards little heart broke, how could he now carry on Now all joy in life was gone If he could only, show her how she made him feel She would know his love was real Cover me in kerosene, I don't care anymore Let me light up the street, I am standing at your door I hope you never get to feel as unlovable as me He came to her house, and emptied the canister The liquid hurt his eyes But he thought this way she will remember Then he set himself on fire Cover me in kerosene, I don't care anymore Let me light up the street, I am standing at your door I hope you never get to feel as unlovable as me Emily's family happened to be out of town As Edward burned to the ground When they returned, nothing remained but a stain He’s ashes all blown away Cover me in kerosene, I don't care anymore Let me light up the street, I am standing at your door I hope you never get to feel as unlovable as me

On one stormy friday night I looked at the pills inside my hand Then I thought how about not putting them in my mouth And that's when all the fun began I felt it rushing over me, a sudden surge of energy As if some sickness washed away Suddenly more alive than i had felt in quite a while I just knew this would be one beautiful day A nurse came in to see how I was doing A pretty young girl, with long brown hair I hit her on the head and hid her underneath the bed And I merrily walked on out of there Right outside my cell I heard a terrifying yell As the warden came right at me with a taser in his hand I do not remember if I strangled or dismembered him But he will never dance again Tonight i'm walking out that door And you won't see me come back around here no more That’s me on the tv screen, but they'll never catch me With the wardens keys I could get around with ease So I went to see the guy who cook our pills I've been known to be quite the prodigy in chemistry And gladly I display my skills I fed him methamphetamine, some adderall and ephedrine I think the guy got quite high that day But he screamed like a child When i drowned him in formaldehyde And all his skin was burnt away I was really glad to see the head of security Cause I would need his help accomplishing my plan I asked him really nice if I could borrow one of his eyes And why this upset him I will never understand He flew into a frenzy swinging his baton at me And seemed quite keen on tearing me apart He wasn't being nice so I took out a butter knife And placed it softly in his heart I wasn't stopped by any retinal scan Carrying the head of security in my hand I was just one door away from getting outside But I just had to say one last goodbye I went to see the old physician I could find his office by following the sound He was a jazz man, who used to have a brass band With musical and medical instruments all around I kicked the door in and politely greeted him Sir it's time for your physical exam In my code of ethics there's no need for anesthetics And he wept like a child when the surgery began My father taught me how to fix stuff First you take the thing apart He looked a bit unmendable and quite unreassembleable But when I was done he looked like a funny piece of art His ankle bone connected to his wrist bone A saxophone jammed into his ear A heavy stone connected to his jawbone And a trombone sticking out his rear

Come Home 04:14
Looks like he’s cooking you something special A delicate feast, with candles and wine He is hoping, you’ll enjoy it He’s hoping he will be done on time But you will not come home. Tonight he’ll sleep all alone He sets the table, fills both glasses Dinner is served, what a wonderful surprise He can't wait to hear you come up the driveway He can't wait to see the look in your eyes But you will not come home. Tonight he’ll sleep all alone The food is cold, and the wine is gone It's ringing, but you're not answering your phone But he knows, he has nothing to fear Anytime now you'll be here But you will not come home. Tonight he’ll sleep all alone

You and Me 04:45
Kissing in the sunlight, I haven't been this happy in a long long time This just feels right. If you should ever leave me I would lose my mind Sleeping in the tall grass. There's no other place I would rather be You’re finally awake. You take a look around and then you see me You try to scream, but you’re unable to make a sound Who would you ever call for? There’s nobody else around Its just you and me, you and me, my love Down by the boat house. I start taking out the old canoe Remember all those summer nights Let's go out on the lake like we used to do You try to run, but the tranquilizer calms you down Where would you ever run to? We’re one hundred miles away from town It's just you and me, you and me, my love You look like an angel. A pretty little tear falls from your chin I'm sorry that we messed this up. But I think it's too late for us to start again You try to swim, but the chain is quite tightly bound There’s no need to fight it, there’s no need to stick around You try to breathe, but the bowling balls pull you down Let's keep this a secret, nobody will know you drowned Except you and me, you and me, my love

You stand by the window, in the early morning light And you try to look sweet, as he comes walking by He will smile and you will wave, and you'll be thinking of him all day You want so to be with him, but they say you can’t Cause that lady down the street, put a ring on his hand But you will try to make him see, you're the one who can make him happy Oh you will try to make him see, you're the one who can make him happy You go to the bar where you know he'll be You take him by the arm and you tell him how you feel He will laugh at you and decline, your offer to become his wife But down in the meadow, where he always goes With a well hidden bear trap, he will finally be yours It will rip his pretty legs apart, but you will still have his heart Oh it will rip his pretty legs apart, but you will still have his heart Drag him to the cabin, hang him on the wall Let him slowly bleed out on the dirty wooden floor In a few hours he will die, but you do get to talk a while Gut him and clean him like your father did with birds With stuffing and oils he will be well preserved Now he's as handsome as he was alive, and he will always be by your side Oh he's as handsome as he was alive, and he will always be by your side Oh my lover don't you know, I will never let you go

Do you remember the first time your pretty eyes met mine On that warm summer evening, in the middle of july It happened that friday when the circus came to town You were eating cotton candy on the merry-go-round But they told me you had others, to whom I could never compare Grown up, handsome lovers who would buy you anything And take you anywhere So I decided that I had to even out the odds I clearly wasn't dealt the very best hand of cards But if all of these bachelors, would somehow disappear I was sure you could fall for somebody like me Young Billy played football, he was the captain of the team He was surrounded by girls, but he had a crush on you it seemed He failed to come home from a running trip one night They found him run over by the same car twice But you still had many others to whom I could not compare Grown up, handsome lovers who’d buy you anything and take you anywhere Marcello Lombardo, your teacher in math Was known to give you special attention after class One morning his maid found him screaming at a piece of bread He had been crudely lobotomized, with an icepick to the head Oswald the painter, he was an old perverted bloke I heard he had done a painting of you where you weren't wearing clothes It was all over the news when they found the dirty swine He had died from drinking a bit too many pints of turpentine But still you had some others to whom i could not compare Grown up, handsome lovers who’d buy you anything and take you anywhere Racecar-driver Roger, he was really quite the star I went up to his house one night and I modified his car The next day they found him at the bottom of the lake Why would anyone go driving down those hills without no brakes Handsome Eddie the young new deputy in town It was said that he'd been seen driving you around One day Eddie took a leap from a 12th floor balcony After eating six or seven donuts, spiked with LSD Now there weren't so many others to whom I could not compare All your other lovers, had all these random accidents or simply disappeared Do you remember the last time I held your hands in mine Standing on your porch with sirens all around I told you that I loved you and you seemed quite surprised But as the cops read my charges the tears ran from your eyes But I knew that you would never, meet another quite like me I was never handsome, talented or smart But I think I still managed to make you remember me

Out on the water someone approaches All dressed in chains, eyes set on me Out in my garden there lies another Waiting for me to fall asleep May all these stories never been written May all these demons just disappear Let in the darkness and it will take over All light consumed forever

Still Alive 04:06
I do not love you like I used to, that's why there's poison in your food Should be more than enough to kill you, if you took a bite or two But you have eaten half your plate, you’ve always been fond of lasagna You're not exactly looking great, but you still have a pulse How are you still alive? I simply do not understand it, I even made a double dose Your skin has turned a darkish purple, from your head to your toes Now I cannot help but smile, you always manage to surprise me We haven't laughed in quite a while, but this moment is nice How are you still alive? If you did the math you know, you would realise You should have been dead by now, you are on overtime I just don't understand How are you still alive?

The Carpet 03:58
The carpet is about to get a stain, but i'm not worried The carpet is about to get a stain, but i'm not worried at all My girlfriend stabbed me in the brain, and i'm bleeding out upon the floor But I don't have to worry about it, cause I won't have to clean anything at all Bet she will feel sorry, when she comes home And realise she has to clean this floor alone The carpet is about to get a stain, but i'm not worried The carpet is about to get a stain, but i'm not worried at all I'm in quite a lot of pain, still I never felt this good She always loved this carpet, it's gonna be ugly with all this blood Bet she will feel sorry, when she comes home And realise she has to clean this floor alone Some textiles are really versatile, hope this won't wash away I hope my blood is invulnerable to every kind of chemical, so this stain will always remain here The carpet is about to get a stain, but i'm not worried The carpet is about to get a stain, but i'm not worried at all I can’t believe she actually did it, seems my girl is quite insane But if I destroy this ugly thing, then I didn’t die in vain Bet she will feel sorry, when she comes home I bet shell be freakin annoyed, when she has to clean this floor alone I bet shell be frustrated, when she comes home I bet shell be really, really sorry but I wont have to worry Cause when cleaning day arrives i’ll be long, long gone Some textiles are really versatile, hope this won't wash away I hope my blood is invulnerable to every kind of chemical, so this stain will always remain here

Marionette 05:42
You go out to drown your sorrows, you’ve been all alone so long Strangers passing you by, they do not see you at all Deep inside the crowd you see her eyes so beautiful Stares straight into yours like no one else is there at all You go on over to her, enfolds you in her embrace Leans in close to your ear, and says let us get out of here Out into the night you follow her towards her home Lord let this be real, please let this angel be the one How the night ended you do not recall But you wake in some room wearing nothing at all There's all sorts of blades hanging on every wall And you try to get up but you're chained to the floor Hush now sweetheart, I won’t let you go This feels just like falling in love Oh dear shiny marionette, dancing to my rhythm

When you’re underneath the earth, no one will hear you crying You’ll be screaming to the lovely worms, they crawl through your mouth When you’re underneath the earth, will your friends come to help you Or will you lie there in your wooden cage, all by your lonely self You tried so hard to make me feel worthless And you did a real good job When you’re underneath the earth, no one will suffer those hurtful words That you spoke so well When you’re underneath the earth, you won't push nobody down in the dirt No never again You tried so hard to make me feel worthless And you did a real good job But oh no longer will you be, calling me names, tormenting me When they found you upon the shore You had been dead for three days or more It was a mystery to everyone Why you had gone swimming with pockets filled with stones But none of them knew, what a beast you were And they found no trace of the ether So no longer will you be, calling me names, tormenting me
